FEI's Mission

The mission of the Family Economic Initiative (FEI) is to increase the economic security of low-income families adversely affected by welfare reform. FEI focuses its legislative advocacy on programs and measures that will help ensure a successful transition from welfare to gainful employment and to protect those families where a parent cannot work.
